Hi all. Just a quick question. Am I right in saying the pro should be able to record at 30fps at 4K? As i only get the option of 24 and 25fps.

Many thanks.
Steve

Sounds like you are set to PAL not NTSC. Only NTSC video format can record 30fps.

You need to knock it down just a bit to 3840X2160 to get to 30. Here are the specs:

  • UHD: 4096x2160p 24/25, 3840x2160p 24/25/30
  • FHD: 1920x1080p 24/25/30/48/50/60
  • HD: 1280x720p 24/25/30/48/50/60

I always recommend filming in NTSC no matter where you are located. Tom from Tom's Tech Time explains it pretty well on this video (at about 2:15):
It's for the Osmo but same rules apply for all DJI products.

I’m in the uk also and am under the impression NTSC is for America only?
There are two television display systems in commercial use: PAL (common in Europe and parts of Asia) delivers a frame rate of 25 fps (frames per second) with 625 lines, while NTSC (used in the U.S. and Canada) delivers a frame rate of 30 fps using 525 lines.
