Phantom 3 help

I need help getting my drone connected. I just bought a phantom 3 and I know nothing about drones. What firmware is and how I download it etc

Mobile device?
Why would you need firmware, myself that is last thing I would ever do.

As said, even if available, firmware updates are not required unless there is a problem. They often cause more grief than help. Time to watch some youtube videos to walk you through set-up and operation. It's not difficult but it is technical. Good luck and hope to hear your up and flying soon.
