Phantom 3 battery, OEM or off brand?

Hello everyone,

I have a phantom 3 standard and was looking for a decent spare battery for it. Could an off brand battery be trusted to use or would I be better off with an OEM dji battery? If an off brand battery would be okay to use, which one would be the best?

Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated, thanks

Do a quick search on the forum. Overwhelming recommendation is to stick with the OEM batteries.

You can be comfortable DJI OEM is decent, 3rd party may be ok but it's a gamble. Feeling lucky?

Thank you for all of your thoughts and suggestions. I think I will play it safe and stick with the OEM in stead of taking a gamble on an off brand.
