PHANTOM 2 VISION VIDEO OUTPUT FORMAT

I was told by a tech at DJI that the Vision Video Output format is supposed to be MP4. Mine is coming out as H.264 What the heck is that? YouTube doesn't recognize it at all, and didn't want to upload it. So DJI doesn't even know their own Video Format? Anyone know anything about this? I don't like the idea of having to convert every video to upload to YouTube.
