Phantom 2, stock rx or futaba t8fg rx

I bought a P2 and T8FG radio. I have searched to find a good answer if i should change te RX in my P2 from the stock DJI to the receiver i got with my T8FG, or not.

What do you guys say? What are the pros and cons? Is there any pros that is worth the "job"?

i would change it out... you already bought it... might as well use it! :shock:

Stock receiver is very good and runs the same protocol as the Futaba receiver. Unless you want to use channel 8 for some other function, you're probably fine with the stock setup.

Also the stock setup has the benefit of being designed to fit so the antennas are in the optimal location. It is harder to achieve the same thing with the Futaba receiver antennas. Antenna extensions are recommended for long range (>2km).
