I managed to score a nice condition DJI Phantom 2 v2 on craigslist w/a cheap gimbal system, but it lacks a video transmitter. I might be able to get a pretty good deal on a GoPro Hero 4, what’s a cheapo option for a video transmitter, receiver and monitor? I don’t really need great resolution, I just want to be able to see what the GoPro is recording. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

I just got the following things for my Phantom 2 v2 :

MECO(TM) Boscam RX-LCD5802 5.8GHz LCD Diversity Receiver 7 Inch Monitor - (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ISOREEU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) $~145.00
FPV LCD Monitor Mount Bracket Support (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JFU47O6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) $~8.50
Immersion RC 600mv 5.8 GHz A/V Transmitter (http://www.amazon.com/Immersion-600..._sim_21_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=0E1N8R9F18FJCGJBZDC6) $~75

(Also go the OSDmini for $~99)

Immersion RC 600mw transmitter
Black pearl 7ch receiver diversity monitor
DJI Mini iOSD (always better to have telemetry with you on screen)

Get good antennas, that's the key to get long range with good quality feed.

I recently bought the black pearl and immersionrc transmitter and the IOSD mini. Just waiting for the transmitter in the mail before i get to work on installation. My question is, are the stock antennas for the black pearl any good? would i be better off getting new antennas, if so any suggestions? Same question for the Immersionrc stock antenna.

if you can find a cgo-1 camera by yaneek, used in older blade quads. it is 1080p with 5.8 wifi xmitter, not great but works

100-300m range at 5.8 mhz and I paid 60 bucks about 6 months ago. use phone to receive.
