I have a Phantom 1 that has been sitting, and I am trying to get it to fly. Well I got it working to a point, but may have a few issues. I know that the software and drivers are not compatible with Win 10. Had to pull out a old laptop and load it with Win 7 to make connection with the Phantom with the software. I have one thing that may be an issue, but don't know how to correct it or sure what the cause is. When it goes through the boot up process, where you would get a single green blink when it is ready to fly. I get two green blinks, not sure but I was thinking it had something to do with one of the throttle controls. Bu no certain. Has anyone had this issue with a Phantom 1 and have a solution for this issue.

Welcome to the forum! Try calibrating the remote controller. The 2 green flashing lights indicate that when you started the drone up, the sticks on the remote weren't centered. If you weren't touching the sticks when you turned it on, but it still doesn't work, try calibrating the remote controller. you can do this in the assistant software. Hope that helps!

Actually they are, its just a pain to get it working initially, you have to run the driver install in an admin level command prompt and then use device manager to update the port to a dji one, if you want specific instructions let me know, i have a couple of videos on the subject in my phantom 2 playlist on youtube

I would like to see the videos. Thanks! How do I get to them?

Like I said, it has been a long time since I flew my drones. I have a Phantom 1 and a 450 Flame Wheel build, and a Mavic Pro and lastly a Carbon fiber scratch built using DJI components. I progress. I know the Mavic Pro works fine, with a set of Epson BT300 glasses. I want to get the Phantom working properly to give to my nephew. It been a while, so I am trying to recall what I knew at the time. You guys have helped me allot but still have to do some tweaking. Now with the Phantom 1 I have allot of things worked out, but I am still having an issue maybe, It could just be a misunderstanding on my part. On start up, the drone goes through its boot up. Now I went into the software setup. When all stick is where they are supposed to be and the throttle stick is centered, I get a single green flash as it is supposed to be. But when I take the throttle stick and bring it down to the stop position, I get two green flashes when it is there, down. But when I take the throttle stick and move it to the center, it goes back to one green flash. Is that correct, the way it supposed to be, In the past, I don't recall going to the two flashes when moving the throttle down. Or am I wrong and that is normal?

The 2 green flashes are normal. It simply means that when you started up the drone and remote, one of the sticks were not centered. Try it again, this time with sticks centered. if it still flashes 2 greens, calibrate the remote. Try doing the CSC command without putting the throttle stick to the bottom.

OK, here is what happens. I put all the stick centered, I turn on the controller and then the drone. What I get, is a constant yellow flash and the controller alarm is going off until I pull the throttle down and then back to center. The LED flashes one green flash, then when I pull the throttle down, it goes to two green flashes. Then when I take the throttle stick back to the center, it goes back to one green flash

When it does one green flash, have you tried doing CSC?

I have done the CSC several times. I have and older laptop, and I loaded Win 7 32bit. The assist 2,40 works fine, it recognizes the drone and controller. Have a question: when you do a configuration in Assist, do you have to save it to the drone or controller. Or does it save the configuration automatically?

I believe it saves it automatically, but I'm not fully sure. Trying to remember how I used my one with the assistant and saved it.;)

OK Bottom line from what I have described, is the double green flash when the throttle is down and is one green flash when the throttle centered. Is that normal situation?

Perhaps it is actually normal. I'm not 100% sure- been awhile.
