Phantom 1 Crash in Lake Superior.

Battery died. Tried to turn around and come back. It started dropping. I gave it full throttle but it continued down into the lake. Amazing part... everything still worked... and still works. Go Pro Hero 3+ Black was not in a waterproof case. I immediately removed drone & Go-Pro Batteries. Go Pro btty backpack red ledwas on. Dried it in car's defroster. Light went out & I later recharged. FPV & Gimbal ok too.

User error for sure. I didn't verify both switches were up...and later found I was in course lock. It was my 5th flight of the day on the same battery. I will be a better pilot in the future.
