So I have both a Phantom 4 and a Phantom 4 pro and I would like to use the batteries interchangeably. My question is that since firmware updates happen on the remote, the craft and the battery and sometimes you can get "incompatible firmware" messages, is it safe to go back and forth between using the same batteries alternately between drones considering that each can be running different versions of Firmware?
I use both batteries in my P4 without problems. My DJI GO4 has been downgraded to 4.0.0 and it's a joy to fly without the constant problems I was always having with the constant upgrades. I'm sure that I'm missing out with some of the newly released modes but I'd rather not have the constant problems.
