P4P dead?

I was finally about to purchase my first Phantom and was looking to get a P4P which seems to be quite unavailable even on the DJI store. Some casual acquaintance dronies say the P4P, +, and v2 are “dead”. Is that true? Have they been replaced by MP2 and Z?

DJI hasn't made any announcement about what's going on with the Phantom and people are making guesses.
It's unusual for DJI to be out of stock for an extended period but until something official comes out from DJI no-one will know for sure.
There's still plenty of potential for the P4 pro and the Phantom series.
