Are you in an open space when you turn on the P4? It should get satellites anywhere in the world unless you're under cover, or blocked by trees etc.

Any suggestions on this. Says I can fly atti mode which make me nervous.
Take your Phantom outdoors where it has a clear view of the sky.
The satellites are there whether your Phantom can see them or not.
Confirm your sky is full of sats if you are skeptical with a GPS app for your phone.
If your Phantom has a clear view of the sky and doesn't see satellites, the most likely reason is that its GPS unit is broken or unplugged.

Thanks a lot for responding. I took it down to the beach and had better luck. I have been flying for awhile and never experienced this. Any suggestions on an upgraded antenna?

You found the missing sats?
The GPS antenna in the P4 is quite good and shouldn't need any improvement.

By the way there is apps to help determine if good to fly for your region incl. satellites, if unsure. Per example "UAV forecast".
Also useful to learn about typical criterias for safe fly
