P4 flies and almost everything works except no image on DJI Go 4

Been working on this P4 I got without a controller or battery. Bought a GL300C off eBay and a battery. It flies but doesn't have an image on the Go 4 app. There is a gimbal and camera sensor error although the gimal calibrates fine according to the app. Tried flashing firmware (before I read I shouldn't) and won't complete flashing but it did restore factory defaults ok. If you look at the pic with the successful gimbal calibration, it seems to have a broken up video feed. The error pics is after the gimbal calibration. Any ideas on where to go from here would be appreciated.....

Replacing the ribbon cable sounds like a good call with all the oixaelation in the video If you have a P4Pro/Advance or P4Pro V.20, don't be fooled by sellers who charge more for the V.20. They are the same cable. P4Std is different.

No video or image recording.

If you take the SD card out do you receive an image on your phone or is there no image?
On the face of it, it looks like a poor cable connection but...

I would try another device, or devices, last time i saw picture 5 the device wasnt capable of displaying the video feed due to it being a low grade device

Update: Got the new DJI flex cable installed. Camera now works and records pics and videos. However, the gimbal errors didn't go away BUT the gimbal auto calibrates from the DJI Go4 app and the errors are still there after calibration.

I know this sounds strange but during calibration, does the gimbal move around?
If it does move, can I see a video showing the calibration process

Ok, that looks okay. I read your original post. You said it wouldn’t complete the update. That is usually a gimbal issue with one of the boards. Can’t verify which one from here. Where are you located ?
