P3S Range Extenders DBS Itelite vs. ARG Tek

Whats the latest study on these aftermarket range extenders?
There are several different ones at various prices $8.00 to over $160.00.
ebay, amazon, etc. New - Used,
Any first hand experience is appreciated.

With the ArgTek antenna, using the three omnidirectional whips provided, and NOT the patches, I am seeing well over a country mile, or about 6,500 feet, with a solid video link, while flying from the crest of a gentle hill.

With stock antenna that came with the Phantom 3S controller, I was lucky to get half a mile of video and control connection, launching from the same exact spot. ArkTek is indeed a worthwhile investment that does dramatically increase my drone's range. I have no experience with any other range extenders.

I do. When we were doing test when the Standard first came out
I saw all types of antennas being tested. You could go way back in this section and see the threads. Here’s what I used and if you look
through my media you can see the results. I only used the itelite
and beleave from all that was tested IMO were the best.

P3 4 K. Think around 3 miles out I quit testing.
