Like many with P3S drones, I have a severe left looking camera and have met with limited success in getting it to look forward again. I’ve even reindexed the yaw arm on the motor shaft (away from the flat) and that has mostly worked.
My question to this Phantom-savvy group is this: Has anyone figured out hat the yaw motor uses to index its straight-ahead position. I seem to recall that I read a post that referenced a magnet on the motor shaft, but now that I’m trying to find that dim memory, I can’t find it, nor can I be sure it was about that P3.
Any ideas? If there’s an answer to this question, there just may be hope to make our birds look straight ahead again!
