p3p questions - gimbal and controller

'lo all. I have a few questions regarding my p3p.

during the gimbal calibration, the gimbal moves left & right so I know it has that capability. Why can I (we) not control the gimbal to go left and right?

The right dial on the controller can be "pushed in". I cannot determine any affect from this. Can this be set?

No the gimbal yaw rotation is only used to dampen the yaw motion of the aircraft, you can't manually turn it.

If you're shooting stills in manual exposure, click the dial to change between adjusting shutter speed or ISO.
