I was practicing at a local part and was coming in fast toward a tree and thought I let off of the right stick for it to stop well I let off the left stick instead so we crashed and hit a limb about 15 feet up. Two prop guards broke, but saved the props. The prop(s) squealed from coming to a hard stop. The drone fell from one limb to another and then hit the ground. The battery popped out. I brought the drone home and charged up my spare battery, powered up and appears everything is working correctly, except for the battery that popped out.
I tried charging and it was a no-go, no lights or anything. Held down the power button on the battery several times for several seconds and still a no-go. I have had the drone and batteries about a month. Is the battery just a $135 lesson and I should buy another or is it salvable? Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank You.
