p3p controllers x2

long story short, i crashed a p3p into the tennessee river, lost forever. i had batterys/ modfied controller that uses the fpvlr amp antenna. so i bought a used low mileage p3p. it came with batterys/controller. my question is this, if i link the 1st p3p controller to the bird so i can use the fpvlr antenna, if i wanted to later go back to the stock controller do i have to relink it ? or does it keep its memory of being married to the same bird. i have both controllers on 1.6 and the p3p on 1.8, its not a big deal having to relink if needed. plus i will add a air side/bird side mod to it this weekend for better video.

not completely sure what you are asking, but you can pair your remote with different phantoms

You will need to re-link the rc to the ac.
