p3a range issue

hi all .

Im new here and this is my first post .
I had a phantom 3 early this year which i was getting 1500-2000 meters range .
I lost that due to a prop coming off .

I have since replaced with a 3 month old p3a , ive upgraded to the latest firmware on both the aircraft and transmitter and the latest app before my first flight.

my problem is im only getting 200-300 meters before i lose both image and control transmission . this happens in clear line of sight in open areas .

ive relinked the transmitter but no help .

ive also noticed the new app wont let me choose custom channel or do an imu
(imu is ok but i thought it may help)

Something wrong, it should always allow you to do IMU and other calibrations.

300m range indicates that you have either wifi interference or RC antenna are not pointing correctly.

So I just noticed when the signal goes if I restart the app it comes back.
It doesn't seem to search for channels itself

I have same problem on phantom 4 and 3ADV, problem after app update dji go and rc 1.8.0

I'm on latest firmware for craft remote and app version .
I'm downgrading now.

On android the calibrate imu button is not there yet it is on ios
Same for manual and auto channel selection

Will litchi cure this so I can avoid dji go

Even the ios says update firmware now I've downgraded but the android doesn't notice and says up to date ???

Very close to getting rid of this p3a.
My last had no issues
