A friend of mine did this before with his Inspire 1 and i thought I could give it a shot with my phantom.

The distance once i caught up to the ship was around 7500ft

At the time i was using stock everything. At the beach you get really good range due to the absence of RF interference and clear line of sight. I have since this flight broken a new record of 13,000 ft out in the west coast of florida but this time i was using the aluminum windsurfers.
