P3 Gimble Lock while updating

Is it ok to have gimbal lock on while updating firmware? I am getting fast yellow but didn't get the D-D-D-D

The gimbal whips around like mad during the update. I would take it off anytime the power is on regardless.

I totally forgot to take it off.... been sitting here for like 15 min debating weather to start over or not.....ok pulling card out now

Agreed. Always remove it before turning on your Phantom.
