Are you folks flying P2V's having problems seeing your phones in daylight. I currently have a P2 w/ Fatshark Attitude/ Gpro and FPV through googles. I have tried 7" monitors in the shade and can't see anything. I have a LG G3 phone.

I made my own sunshade. It helps, but doesn't entirely eliminate the glare.

But I only use the FPV/monitor to set up shots, not really fly, so it's good enough for me.

I have one of Milton's shades and added an extension. It is at the bottom of page 8 in this thread. It works well for me, I don't use a neck strap and I still don't notice the weight or balance. I shaped the extension to match the curve of a forehead so when I need it I get a complete light seal on the top and sides. Yet it is still easy to touch the screen.

You can see my son using it when my extension was still cardboard - now it's plastic.

Thx folks. I assumed there had been a discussion. Rumor has it that there is a 'sun friendly' phone display on the horizon.
