Owned Real Estate FAA Requirements

If I worked for a company that purchased a drone for its own use. The drone is a DJI Mavic 2. It would not be flown for profit only for inspection of the company’s owned real estate. What FAA requirements am I, the company and/or the drone subject to?

100% must have a 107.

Any drone not flown strictly for "hobby or recreation" must have a 107 Certificated pilot on the shoot. (There are a few exceptions, but you're not going to fall into that category.)

The requirements are listed on the FAA's site. You can find that here: Certificated Remote Pilots including Commercial Operators

And your insurance company will not pay out any claim if there is an incident without a 107 Pilot on site, and most likely on the controls.

Well, don't fly commercially is what he meant. You can still fly as a hobbyist, but take into account the laws and regulations. Good luck!
