Is there a way i can fix the focus on a P4.?

Is the know on the right back for focus?

Everything looks to be in focus to me, but you either need to adjust your camera settings or put on an ND filter in the bright sun. Also, is your lens clean as there might be a slight haze on it too.

Does the lens have a piece of plastic over them ?
