Old phantom 2

Hey guys I am just curious. I bought an old phantom 2 for a 100 bucks. Came with a gimble so I can through a go pro on it for some decent video. I cant get the old flight assistant program and rc assistant program to work so I can put it in maza m mode. Tried different USB ports re-downloading the software and still cant get it to recongize the drone or the radio. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated. Would like to get this dinosaur rolling
