Not seeing map/satellite screen on my table screen - help

I just purchased a new controller for my P3P due to a failed omnidirectional antenna install
Now, when I launch the DJI GO app, etc., my tablet screen shows the camera image, but the map/satellite inset is blank. This was not a problem when I was using the original controller. How do I resolve this problem? Thanks.

You don't even need a remote to see the map, so I guess which remote you have doesn't matter. Is your mobile device connected to the internet to load maps?

i saw this once when the tablet didn't have playstore updated, could be a tablet issue, are you on android or iOS, if android I would suggest resetting the device to factory settings and reinstall the go app
