Hi All I read this on a thread in the DJI forum:

"I had similar problem with another quad. I checked my launchpad, it wasn't perfectly straight. Try to turn the quad ON while it is sitting on a perfectly straight level base. This helped me with straight flying.

When the quad initialises it calibrates its gyros and assumes level is where it is sitting, although it might be slightly tilted to one side; in your case the quad is tilted to left when you turn on power."

Is this true ??

No. The gyro calibration is what happens when you calibrate your IMU. If you launch on an uneven surface, it will have no effect on the gyros.
