New here.
I have a phantom 3 standard that I am working on. Owner crashed it a year ago and sent it to DJI. They repaired and returned the unit. 6 months or so later he tried to use it and it would have no video signal to his phone so he put it back in the box and let it be.
This is where I come in. He asked me If I could look at it. I figured first thing was to try a firmware update but it was impossible since the SD card slot was now inoperable and the app told me it needed it the update. Would say no SD card detected no matter what you do so an update wasn't going to happen.
Ordered another gimble from ebay. Got it installed and the SD card could now be read but with the same exact issue that there is no video feed and no battery data/indication. No warning messages except for "controller signal weak" and the app isn't telling me anything about a software update.
Updated latest firmware manually since the DJI go app did not prompt the update. No change.
Downloaded all the old firmware versions and rolled back 4 of them one by one. With each rollback no change. Same issue.
I have read here about the PH3P having it flashed by soldering to the board but I dont know if this or the files would work for the standard. Not to mention I swapped gimbles completely.
Any additional insight would be awesome. Thank you
