The operator's manual points out that you can use any android device w/4.0 or above. The 2013 Nexus 7 comes w/4.0 and has upgrades to, now, 4.3 I believe. I use my nexus7 on the Vision 2, as you get a more realistic FPV. As the cell phone mount that comes w/the Vision 2 will not accommodate the Nexus7, I used a goose neck window cell/gps mount permanently attached to a large clipboard, oriented sideways, and secured the controller along side w/a small thin bungee. I fabricated a sun shield from aluminum flashing to fit the shape of the Nexus 7, painted it flat black, and attached it to the goose neck holder w/industrial velcro. After adding a neck strap, I have a very nice "control platform".
