I got a Galaxy Tab S2 after going into my local PC world to get a tablet for Christmas to use with my Phantom 3 Pro.

I looked at the reviews reference compatibility and everyone was singing it's praises.

I got it and downloaded DJI Go. When I turn it on and connect it up, it doesn't allow me to access the camera view via the app, almost like the App isn't seeing my tablet.

Any ideas please?

Cheers

Did you get your S2 working I have a buddy with that one and he had the hardest time getting it to work would only work every few tines. Seems many here say the S2 is just a weird one even more than androids in general. I'll never be a fanboy but iPads just seem to work well with dji when android is like a lottery maybe you get lucky but then someone chimes in with a helpful mine works perfect.

Not yet. I've even tried changing the USB function for it, but the tablet doesn't seem to want to let me do that either lol

The P4 connects via USB? If so, did you enable USB Debugging? Try plugging it in to a PC and see if the PC recognizes it. When ever I connect my tablet to my laptop, there is a pop-up on the tablet asking me what I want to do with that connection. I need to allow the laptop to see the tablet in order to access files.

Don't give up. I have been using my 9.7" Samsung Tab S2 for about two years now. I have 450 miles on my Phantom P3Pro. My Galaxy has been working great. I mostly use Litchi to fly, but have no trouble with the DJI go app i use for some settings. I can also use my wife's Samsung 8" Tab S2 also. Works great with the P3P. Over the years I have had some trouble doing a firmware update with the Galaxy Tab S2. You might want to borrow an I-thing to do the AC and RC firmware updates. Then you can enjoy flying with your Galaxy. Presently I am using the latest P3P firmware for the AC and the RC. I also have three P3P and they all work great with my Galaxy Tab S2 tablets. You might want to try the 9.7" tab S2 with the Hoodman sun-shield. When flying I run the brightness at full (in the Arizona and Colorado bright sun). With the hoodman I can even see power wires while flying on the bright 9.7" Galaxy Tab S2.
Cheers,
Joe
