I own 3 Drones and work on the mountain. I have a Spark when I go backcountry. In bounds you need a permit to fly. Actually a good rule as guys try to fly around crowded slopes which is not safe. Tom, Whistler

It's fairly common to see these popping up around the country. I saw my first one 3 years ago here at Cataloochee Ski area but I fully understand why. We had people flying just feet above the heads of the people standing in line and buzzing the chairlift.

Once again a few idiots ruin it for everyone.

On the bright side... I worked with the ski area and became their "Go To" UAS Operator and now they refer our company to people wanting UAS images for their ski groups. WIN!
