New P3P owner (yeah, yeah, that thread again)

OK, I've been lurking here for a while.. With the recent price drop, I pulled the trigger on a P3P with the hardshell case bundle from BestBuy..
Not exactly a newb, I've been flying fixed-wing RC for years, and have been through a number of cheap multi-rotors (blade, etc) through my Phantom 1 (upgraded by me to 1.1.1 and gimble)..
Still updating firmware and locating a good deal on a Nexus 7 tab, but hope to be in the air this weekend.

Couldn't see myself needing whatever is new on the P4, but the price drop on the P3P was hard to pass up.

That's probably as great an update for you as those chomping at the bit going from a P3P - P4 - your update is likely gonna offer more and feel better coming up from the P1.
