New owner and just unboxed. Confused about USB port.

Hi guys i got my phantom 3 advanced last week and my rc has the 2 usb ports ,1 normal usb to connect my ipad and a second micro usb port aswell .

So what would be the advantage or difference for the controller? I have the same controller, and the AC says it's a P3P.

The USB port is what allows the Lightbridge signal to connect to your phone. The P34k and P3S use wifi straight to the phone.
