Hello everyone. Just thought I would introduce myself. I got my Phantom 3 Standard yesterday for my Birthday and was able to get a short flight in between rain.

I have decided after one flight that I don't like the standard phone mount so I purchased the DJI phantom IPad mount from Best Buy, and the AF phantom bracket mount from Helidirect. I don't want to drill into the remote so thought this was the best option. I will let you all know how it goes when they arrive.

I have the helidirect mount on a spare r/c. It works ok, but I wish the 'ball-mount' part was extended a bit more than it is. Need a bit more room between the device and the controller. But it does alleviate any drilling. And, by the way....Welcome to the Phantom Pilots Forum!! Happy Flying!! ......and Happy Birthday! [emoji512]

Yeah, I love my inspire mount on my primary r/c. Installed that while I was inside doing the DBS mod. Works great.

Welcome to the forum, you can get an extension that allows use of a full size iPad. UAV Bits makes a good one.
