you could try to do a re-flow. If it is broken already I would say it is worth a try. I fixed an iphone with this method that had one of the connectors come loose of the mainboard.
After Thinking it over in the shower I believe instead of using the oven method to re-flow the solder, you should use a heat gun and thick aluminum foil with a small spot cut out for the area you need the solder to re-flow at. Start out conservative so you don't melt anything other than solder and then wait for it to cool and see if it worked if not try heating it a little longer.
