Need help setting up Phantom 4 pro + controller

My P4P+ was given to me Saturday (12/29/2018). I tried setting up the controller but when I get to the part to enter my area in the world, there is no United States! It only shows Africa, and three other foreign countries, no USA.
What gives?

Not for sure, have you called DJI? Using Africa might give you more acces than the U.S. LOL

I haven't called DJI yet, but wondered if it would make any difference if I did use another continent or country; but to complicate matters, as the charger that came with the set would not charge the batteries nor the controller and I ordered another charger from Amazon.
