Need drone to connect controller to wifi?

Controller gets- "Authentication Problem" message when trying to connect to wifi.

Someone in a message implied that it would not work unless it was also connected to the drone.

Correct or no?

Not sure how, but got it to work.

If you are updating the RC app or the firmware, you do not want to be connected to the Drone. If you are properly logged in, it sounds to me, like a poor Wi-Fi connection.
