Hey all. I'm new to the hobby and a new phantom pilot as well. I have been reading up on proper battery use and storage and was wanting some input. Does anyone else store their batteries in a hard case such as this? Is it generally advised against? If so what are other good options?

Thanks!

I would buy some large-ish lipo bags to store the batteries in. When stored I keep mine in a metal .50 ammo can as well.

Almost the same case and I keep em in !!

I always store mine in a case. If you're concerned about it though, an ammo box would be a safer option.

If the battery catches on fire, it won't burn your house down.

Thanks for the replies. I've got plenty of ammo boxes lying around I could use too.
