My dabble with boosters .... 5.8 and 2.4Ghz .....

Not interested in just flying, not interested in aerobatics. Only interested in shooting video/pictures. The drone is one of my means to achieve this goal. Pro models are outside my budget atm. I want/need range because some locations I want to shoot are not accessible by foot/wheels so I use Litchi missions. While a connection isn't needed I feel much better having the ability to take over control should a mission go awry.

The only way to solve that then is the Boosters.

But note that any obstruction between you and aircraft will still affect connection.

There is a simple modification that gives really good range ... IF you already have Argtek fitted ...

TWO Windsurfers fixed together to sit attached to the central Argtek 5.8Ghz .... I had over 4kms with that ...

The 2.4Ghz Video on standard Argtek seemed to keep up with it ... as you see on the video.
