monetizing on youtube

i just read a thread, the one of the video with the ufo, and someone said "maybe youll hit 100k views on you tube, its time to monetize that video"

so, for those of you who monetize their videos on youtube, how much are you getting for a hundred thousand views? i know it is different for every user/country.

in my case 100k views = 112.25 dollars

Most people have to get thousands of subscribers before they start to see any substantial income.

Not based on hits. Based on ad clicks. Popular topics will net more money. Not really subscribers although it's good to have regulars checking out your new videos. All about good content.
