My mobile app just shows these chinesish graphics. Have re-booted, deleted and reloaded app with same results on IOS 11.3.

Those are spam posts from a few days ago. They have now been deleted. No idea why they are still showing up on your device. I'd recommend to delete and reinstall but sounds like you tried that. I'll see if I can recreate it here.

Thanks - they show up under the "Trending" tab, the "Popular Threads" tab seems to be working now.
