Yeah, strange! At least no mention of refrigeration needed. The IMU calibration is unexpectedly complicated
META-REVIEW: Complete list of Mavic features & what people are saying about it
From the DJI spec list:Looks like conflicting info about the camera's exposure abilities. One part says it can take 2 second long exposures and another part lists shutter speed 8sec - 1/8000th sec. Am I misinterpreting something?
But why?
Look the quality of the Mavic
Obviously the Phantom will stick around.
Isn't the USB port used to connect to the controller? If not how does it connect? Too bad the RC TX does not support HDMI.Welp, time to invest in a microUSB-to-HDMI cable. Would definitely be neat to have a larger monitor next to you for displaying FPV to a crowd.
Exactly like 3DR Pixhawk flight controller. Also dual IMU and compass is similar. Is it possible....?The IMU calibration is unexpectedly complicated
Yes, a micro usb port with a lightning adapter or a standard USB port. No chance of HDMI through USB at the moment. No drivers, and I'm sure DJI is going to milk their proprietary display sales first.Isn't the USB port used to connect to the controller? If not how does it connect?
DJI quoted that the gimbal was stable enough to take 2 seconds exposures and still getting sharp picturesLooks like conflicting info about the camera's exposure abilities. Well, yes and no. While the OOTB cable does attach to the µUSB on the left side, there's also a central USB-A on the underside that you can use if you don't mind it looking odd.Isn't the USB port used to connect to the controller? If not how does it connect? Too bad the RC TX does not support HDMI.
Amazing OP. Well done, sir.
With Android, you can Chromecast your entire phone screen to a TV. That would be an option.Maybe not HDMI from the USB-A, but since you can drive the Go App from the USB-A, and you can get video-out from the µUSB, maybe you can get the best of both worlds?
