Mavic Air Quickshots Question?

Hi,
As newbie, I have a couple questions; I especially like the boomerang and circle modes.
1) Can you place the controller out of sight and do the Quickshots?
2) Does the Quickshot mode keep repeating itself until stopped?
It would be nice if you could do the Quickshots without having the controller in hand leaving you to do whatever you want in the video. Thanks, Ray
