Went to fly, got a no SD message. Shut down, got an SD and started to put it in, noticed that it looked like there was one in - above the slot where it should go. Wasn't positive about that, so I put one in the slot and flew, it recorded and worked fine. Came in put a flashlight and magnifying glass on the SD slot, & there was an SD card above the correct slot. Tried to work it out with a needle and it immediately slipped back in out of sight. No rattle or anything when I shake it, another card goes in and out fine, so I think I'll just have to forget about it, don't want to take anything apart. What do you think? Ed

Has anyone actually had a camera apart and can tell me whether or not my lost card could hurt anything in there?

I never had one lost in my bird. But I had some of them lost inside my iMac... the DVD slot is just right after the SDCARD slot...
If it aint broken, don't fix it.
leave it there and forget about it.
