Long Exposures

Do you guys have a secret to long exposures? I just tried a bunch of 8" and they all turned out too shaky from movement

tripod mode and no wind. long exposure shots can be taken of waterfalls and rivers with nd filters preferably x32

8 seconds is a loooooooooooooooong long exposure. Try some 2-3 secs and then move up some if it doesn't give you the desired effect

Try 2 or 3 second exposures. If the air isn't dead calm don't even waste your time.

Yep I would use gimbal lock for longer exposures. Helps to eliminate movement of gimbal while taking the photo
