Links in posts

Hi all,

This may be a question for the moderator but I will throw in out there. I was curious about posts where an internet address link has been incorporated. We have all been warned about clicking on links in emails and the potential of triggering malicious code or invoking sites that will do as such. I was wondering about posts on this forum and whether or not any safeguards have been put in place to screen the potential threat. Just curious...Thanks all.

p.s. sorry I'm an IT guy and have to ask the ugly questions sometimes.

Yes we have safeguards in place but as an IT Professional you already know nothing is fool proof.

Few slip through the "system" but once in a while one might and we deal with them ASAP then they do.

If a member who has only 1 post and it contains a link, i maybe hesitant to click it but if MSINGER has a link in his post I dont hesitate. When you spend time on this forum you get to know the active members.
