Launching and landing from a boat

Hi guys,

It's my first time launching and landing from a boat with the P4P Pro Plus.

Do I turn off obstacle avoidance, launch in Atti mode by hand?

Do I then turn on GPS in flight and set the home point to the controller?

And when landing, do I need to set the CSC control to enable to stop the props when in the hand?

Any advice would be gratefully received!

You can turn off obstacle avoidance and benefit from the additional speed.
I can't imagine why you would want to launch in atti mode though.

Do I then turn on GPS in flight and set the home point to the controller?

Is the boat sailing along while you are flying? Or is it stationary.
If the boat is moving, you don't want to get in a situation where the Phantom thinks home is 4 miles back where you launched and attempt to RTH because the battery is getting too low to RTH that distance.
You can reset the home point a few times during the flight to prevent this.
It won't matter whether you reset to the controller's or Phantom's location.

And when landing, do I need to set the CSC control to enable to stop the props when in the hand?

You should never need to use CSC except for starting the motors.
Whenever you land (anywhere) or hand catch, you stop the motors by pulling the left stick hard down for 3 seconds.

TURN OFF VPS! If you can, learn how to hand catch first; it comes handy in situations where the ground isn't leveled.
