I manually land. I may RTH to get it quickly near me but then I cancel and manually land. If I concentrate I can get it to land without bouncing. Too chicken to hand catch. I understand those who prefer to hand catch on account of it bouncing a bit abruptly when landing though.

I have been hand catching for over 3 years and don't even think
about it . Done correctly it's no problem but you do have to stay
focused .Do what makes you happy .
