I got a strange message on my controller before flying my P4 this morning. Landing gear lowered. Etc.? Why?

The message is for an Inspire.
Somehow the app has thought you were flying an Inspire.
Check the aircraft type next time you connect.
You confirm you selected correct aircraft right? This is key point effectively.
Landing gear lowered message is for Inspire and might have been displayed in P4 context with some previous GO4 app version and fixed later on. If I remember well also some users reported the message didn't appear anymore after some time/usage.
Do you have updated to latest GO4 version just published these days. If yes, would say possible regression.
