Does anyone have any suggestions on great locations to fly and take photos and videos on Kauai?

Just watch out for low flying helicopters. They don't abide by the 400 foot rule. Often they fly right above the water. Waimea Canyon is super dangerous because they fly into the canyon about every 10 minutes or so.
the state banned operating in state parks so most waimea canyon shots you see are either helicopter or illegally shot. poipu is cool but it gets windy. west side is also pretty nice but just don't go too close to PMRF. There are multiple spots to fly out along the Kapaa bike path as well as further north up to kalalau trail head.
As previous people mentioned watch out for low helicopters. Military and photo flights are often below 400 ft. also watch out for the white birds with long tails. they are aggressive.
