One reason it needs the DJI RC hanging from it is because you need the antennas, and good luck changing their orientation as needed. Might be a more feasible accessory if the RC could just be clipped to your belt while using the joy stick if it wasn't for the antennas. Interesting way of flying, but I don't see it working unless everything is incorporated into a single unit.
